Use Twitter. But not to be one of over 60 million followers of Kim Kardashian. 

I wouldn’t waste one brain cell to know anything about her.

But I would use brains cells for this:

Good sources of information related to our field. The advantage of Twitter is the information comes to you so you don’t have to search after it. Limit the amount of people or companies you follow to 10. Doing much more than that will just create clutter.

Seek out stuff about advertising or graphic design. You can start by following me if you want to see what interests me in advertising. @Radvertising  Also follow some places like The One Club for awards and event related news. Then pick a few ad agencies and digital agencies you’d love to work for. Maybe @aigadesign or @adfreak too or @ADCyoungguns
